A Blast of a weekend... part two

Day two of the 80/35 festival went from 12pm-11 pm, with fireworks following.  Needless to say, I was very pleased that our home is in the middle of the festival, so we could have some down time during the day.  My favorite act of the day was Jakob Dylan.  I really enjoyed listening to his music, but wished he was a little more energetic/talkative during his set.
The festival got me wondering when I got old and "conservative."  Not that I was ever big into wearing bikinis & halter tops in public (or in private, for that matter), but when I saw people wearing them, I instantly thought of how burned they were going to get & hoped they were  wearing sunscreen!  I was so tired by the end of the day, and by the looks of it, Sydney was too.  Jon & Wendy stayed out and listened to the entirety of The Roots.  Sydney & I watched part of it, then watched the fireworks from the comfort of our home.  I am completely exhausted today, as is Jon, but Sydney is ready to rock-n-roll!
